…until NaNoWriMo begins and although I feel my planning is not only coming along nicely, it’s fun. That’s always a good sign, isn’t it?
I have a loose schedule figured out for myself:
Rise early (okay, so earlier than waiting until the MoH backs out of the driveway) at 7:00
Coffee and yogurt while rereading previous day’s work.
Edits.
Morning inspirational walk to think about new writing (30 minutes).
Write until noon.
Lunch and reread day’s work.
Food blog, bathroom remodel, sister’s photo project, friend’s project, clean house, grocery shop…(well not all of it every day, of course)
Late afternoon walk (30 minutes)
Dinner.
Research/Reading/TV
Bed at 11:00
I’m sure there’s a snack in there somewhere, but I’ve decided much gum chewing will be involved to keep me from too much snacking. Evidently, I have a proclivity to do more wandering down to the kitchen when I’m lost in this book kind of thinking, and the stairs are not a deterrent. I can also feel myself wanting more than the 1-2 cups of coffee I normally drink in the morning which makes me remember college days and endless pots of coffee to get me through class, homework, work after school.
Another thought might be that with a split hour of walking each day, stairs, gum, ice water, and coffee, I might just lose a few pounds while this is going on.
Wouldn’t that be a perk? Especially considering I’ve gained back some of what I lost the first six months of this year.
Definitely.
